Society for All Round Development (SARD) is a non-profit organization established in 1996, which aims to increase the participation of minority
and disadvantaged communities in mainstream development processes. SARD’s goal is to empower these groups, particularly women and adolescent girls,
by improving their access to quality education and health services; providing vocational training; introducing micro-credit schemes; and promoting
environmentally sustainable income generating activities. It’s thrust is to build the organizational and leadership capacities of its stakeholders.
SARD takes a holistic and integrated approach to development that favors the sustainability of its programs by providing people access to tools,
training and structures them need.
SARD has conducted various programmes in close coordination with many bilateral and multilateral organizations such as Michael & Susan Dell
Foundation, Tata Trust, DIB, European Commission through Aga Khan Foundation, Save the Chidlren, UNICEF, UNESCO, USAID, UNDP, WHO, UNHCR, Project
Concern International, OXFAM, Water Aid, Partage, Plan India, NABARD, Child reach International, ILO, Worldreader, MASHAV, BCG, HP, Oracle, etc.
SARD is a pan India organization currently working in 9 states of India through its 13 field offices. SARD has been able to mobilize support
from multilateral, bilateral institutions, INGOs(international Non-Govt. Organizations), foundations, leading corporates and individuals since
inception.

SARD works on strengthening mainstream systems and processes while working very closely with all key stakeholders. SARD in collaboration has
already developed many modules, manuals, e-content and supplementary material for the education departments of various state governments of India.
The material developed in joint collaboration with leading civil societies, corporates, state governments and the central government are widely
used by intended beneficiaries.
